Electronics Engineer - Bramley
An energetic and dynamic electronics engineer is required to support planned growth within the business. The successful candidate will as part of a small development team bring new products to market. This will include design of analogue and digital electronics for sensors and instrument control equipment. The position will be based out of our Bramley office in Hampshire, but the role will involve travel to other RM&C offices and may involve site based activities at various clients' locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sensor electronics and embedded software design
- PCB Design & Layout
- Product approvals/accreditations, including EMC and IS
- Provide technical support for new and existing products
- Automated test equipment design & support
- Knowledge of pressure, flow or temperature sensors and technologies.
- Experience of running & participating in Product Development Projects.
- Previous experience of gaining product approvals (EMC & IS). Generic product standards preferable.
- Demonstrated ability of analogue circuit simulation (experience with NI Multisim).
- Demonstrated ability of Microcontroller design.
- Experience in PCB layout (familiarity with NI Ultiboard)
- Previous experience of embedded software design for real time systems, using C and Assembler.
- Experienced NI Lab VIEW user.
- BSC or BEng in Electronics with a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.

P.A. to the Managing Director
Based at our Sheffield Head Office, this is a pivotal role supporting both the Managing Director and the wider business. It will be a demanding, responsible and evolving role requiring commercial acumen, a flexible approach and a keen eye for detail. The role requires professional and competent handling of day to day requirements, but also versatility and creativity in the varied tasks you will be involved in.
You will be highly motivated with a positive attitude. Excellent skills in Word, Excel and Powerpoint are essential as are strong numeracy and literacy skills. You must be competent in delivering consistent high quality work. On-Site Calibration Engineers
We have a number of vacancies for Field Service/Calibration Engineers to join our UKAS accredited mobile team for on-site calibration duties. The applicants will ideally be experience Calibration Engineers with knowledge of the heat treatment and aerospace industries. It would also be an advantage to be able to demonstrate knowledge in pressure, temperature, flow or electrical parameters.
You will ideally have HNC/ONC qualifications in a relevent discipline with previous experience in a field service/calibration role. This position would suit and engineer wanting to develop account growth, or a Technical Sales Executive looking to develop service skills.
Prospective applicants must be outgoing, hard working, enthusiastic and able to maintain strong relationships and a commitment to offer the best possible service at all times. A full driving license is required.
