During January 2011 Roxspur Measurement & Control Ltd undertook its UKAS Reassessment Audit where it was audited by six UKAS Assessors over 2½ days. It was agreed by all that the audit was a major success. The Improvement Actions received were very few for a Laboratory of our size and the number of parameters covered. We have already started implementing these Improvement Actions and are well on schedule to complete them all substantially before our deadline of the end of March 2011. This means that RM&C will continue to hold its UKAS Accreditation that was first gained back in 1970.
It was noted by the UKAS Assessors that the Laboratory had made improvements since our last reassessment visit in October 1996, and notably had strengths in terms of the competence of our staff and their positive attitude to accreditation.
