MC Series mass flow controllers utilise a proportional valve coupled with a Laminar flowmeter similar to the M Series. Calibrated for air as standard, but available for use on many types of gas. These closed loop devices accept a zero to five volt control input and provide an independent output, giving the actual flow rate. The delays experienced with thermal type controllers are not present using laminar technology, allowing flow control to be achieved within a fraction of a second. Absolute Pressure and Temperature measurements allow compensation for changing working conditions, giving mass flow control which is corrected to standard conditions (1 atm. and 25°C).

The V series Volumetric Gas Flowmetersare designed for applications venting to atmosphere, with constant back pressure or with little to no back pressure. They do not include absolute pressure or discrete temperature sensors, which makes them an affordable alternative to mass flowmeters. As with the M Series, the Volumetric flow meters use discrete Differential Pressure sensor measurements within the laminar flow region to determine flow.

Other gas calibrations available, including: argon, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, ethane, helium, hydrogen, methane, nitric oxide, nitrogen, nitrous oxide, oxygen and propane.
