The P6420-XXX-26 is a temperature compensated pressure transducer having a 2 wire, 4 - 20mA output, with a facility for re-ranging by the user. It is available in standard ranges from 0 - 10 to 0 - 100 metres water gauge, or may be scaled to customer requirements. All ranges are available in gauge or absolute format.

The P6420-XXX-26 pressure transmitter is based on a four active arm strain gauge bridge fused to a high purity ceramic diaphragm, offering high natural output coupled with superb chemical and corrosion resistance. It offers a two wire, 4 - 20mA output proportional to liquid level. The sensing element and its associated electronics are housed in a rugged two part stainless steel case, which provides access to the 5:1 turndown facility DIL switches and zero & span potentiometers. The two halves are secured by means of cap headed screws and an O ring seal, which when coupled with the IP68 sealed cable gland, provides a high integrity waterproof assembly. Both sensor and electronics are protected from the effects of lightning strikes by the inclusion of a lightning protection circuit.
