The 4250M is available as a trace multipoint recorder with a 1Hz sample rate and up to 96 input channels. The instrument has a high level of functionality with PC card for configuration storage or logging of process data for transfer to computer database or spreadsheet packages. Extensive mathematics capabilities and totalisers, timers, counters and logic functions allow real time presentation of calculated data.

The 4250M’s annotation allows scales, messages and time tagged numerical values, to be printed to chart. As well as using the keypad or Secret-til-lit alphanumeric keyboard, the 4250M is fully configurable off site, using a PC with the configuration being transferred via PC card. The PC cards can store several configurations that can be selected and down-loaded to the recorder as required.

The 4250M can be viewed as a true data acquisition centre with electronic data storage and serial communications as well as local printing. This provides the user with high integrity real time paper recording coupled with the ability for further analysis/storage of the data on PC.
