Molten metal temperature measurement can be easily achieved with this range of three industrial dip probes, covering thermocouple types K, R & S.

The PTI3 is a rugged, completely portable, battery operated pyrometer, manufactured for the use of disposable (or permanent) thermocouples, to measure the temperature of molten metal in foundries or melting shops. Temperature is indicated by a bright 4 digit 7 segment LED display, which, together with the latest microprocessor based amplifier, is housed in a cast aluminium handle assembly. Designed for convenience the pyrometer has a single on/off push button and by use of a special programme, the instrument automatically retains the highest temperature measured (PEAK HOLD) until de-energised.

Also available is the economical quick-change dipper that provides a temperature output that can be read on any universal hand held temperature indicator.
