The GEN 1500 Series are DIN rail mounted transmitters designed to accept thermocouple or Pt100 temperature sensors and to isolate and convert them to the industry standard 4-20mA transmission signal. Automatic cold junction compensation is provided for thermocouples, whilst high accuracy is achieved with Pt100 sensors by using an active three or four wire bridge arrangement which effectively removes any errors associated with the sensor connecting cables.

Units are supplied pre-set for sensor type and temperature range required from the table or can easily be re-ranged by the customer using the Zero and Span potentiometers on the front panel.
