The GEN 220/230 Smart Din Rail Transmitters provide a current output from any of the common industrial sensors. All versions feature galvanic isolation from the power supply and input to output isolation.

The GEN 220/230 are microprocessor based and feature automatic self calibration of span and zero which results in excellent short and long term accuracy and repeatability. Linearisation is performed digitally to ensure drift free performance.

The GEN 230 offers all the features of the GEN 220 plus the following:

Dual trip relays can be fitted on GEN 230 as an option. These are two individual relays with a common connection and each may be configured independently as high, low or deviation alarms. An additional feature enables the relays to be used for system healthy alarms. Each relay has an associated LED which is illuminated to show the alarm state.

The GEN 230 is available for hazardous area use. Although the units need to be mounted in a safe area, they have an isolated and intrinsically safe ‘front end’ which means that sensors can be connected directly in to the Hazardous area WITHOUT BARRIERS
