Excellent audit results for RM&C
21st November 2014
This week our UK-based Roxspur Measurement and Control (RM&C) site in Bramley successfully completed a two-day audit of its safety, health, environmental and quality practices, pre-qualifying the company to work in the UK utilities industry. It was an excellent result achieving year on year improvements in all areas.
The audit conducted by Achilles evaluates suppliers on behalf of the utilities industry and enables the sector to manage risk and comply with EU regulations – it also helps drive industry best practice.
The audit evaluated internal management systems for quality, health and safety and environment at RM&C and also the implementation of practices at client sites. All suppliers – large and small - go through the same rigorous audit process for pre-qualification.
Simon White, Technical Director (pictured above) said: “I’m delighted to see the improvements we’ve made over the last year. The auditor told us these were excellent results by any standard. Having this qualification is a pre-requisite to work for many companies in the utilities sector so it’s important for TT as we explore further growth opportunities.
I would like to thank everyone involved in this achievement - it was a great team effort."
Congratulations to the SHEQ team in Bramley: Simon White, Technical Director; Richard Budden, Quality Manager; Les Butler, Production Manager; Janet Collins, Site Administrator; Phil Beale and Mark Read, Team Leader.
