Roxspur Supports Bluebell Wood
23rd December 2014
Instead of spending money on Christmas Cards this year, the staff at Roxspur Measurement & Control in Sheffield has decided to donate the equivalent amount of money they would have spent to charity.
This year’s chosen charity is Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice. Bluebell Wood offers respite care and support to children with a shortened life expectancy, both in their own homes and at their hospice in North Anston. Bluebell Wood is a place filled with laughter and love. They give families the chance to relax, take a break and have fun, and they help support the whole family.
Patrick Thornley works in Marketing & Communications and regularly volunteers at Bluebell Wood. On Monday, he went to present them with the cheque and was featured in a radio interview with BBC Radio Sheffield. Bluebell Wood was thrilled with the donation.
Thank You to everybody that donated. We raised £120.
